Aluminized Mylar®, also known as PET or polyester film, is suitable for use in internal MLI layers or as a single-layer Flexible Optical Solar Reflector (FOSR). It is ideal for short-duration missions with an operating temperature range of -60°C to 150°C.
 
Film thickness is available in 0.2, 0.3, 0.5, 1, 2 mil. Maximum film width is 39 inches. This product meets NASA requirements for low thermal vacuum outgassing (ASTM E-595) where TML <1.0% and CVCM <0.1%.
